Social Events

The MSG RiP is a great excuse to get together as a community and chat all things metamorphic. It’s also a wonderful opportunity for students to meet each other. Although this won’t be quite the same, we hope that our two online social events will provide some informal community chat time.

MSG student social events

Our student rep Sophie Miocevich is organising a slack channel where students can introduce themselves (please email srm81@cam.ac.uk to be added to this channel). This can then be a place for asking questions/ getting advice from other students as well as just getting to know the rest of the UK metamorphic student community and sharing nice photos of rocks.  Additionally, there’s going to be a student-only social as part of MSG so students can get as close to a real world chat as possible.
