The 2017 Metamorphic Studies Group meeting will be held at The Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Oxford on the 15th March. Following the meeting, there will be a return of the “meta-curry” in Oxford.
Keynote Speakers are:
Lucie Tajcmanová (ETH Zurich): Metamorphic Geology – why should we care?
Samuel Angiboust (Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris): Palaeo-seismicity in subduction zones
On the 14th of March, the University of Oxford Department of Earth Sciences and MSG are hosting an EBSD workshop – which will certainly be of interest to many metamorphic petrologists! Sign up fast for this workshop, as numbers are strictly limited.
Registration for both can be found here.
We hope to see you all in Oxford!
